Wayne Turmel is a co-founder of the Remote Leadership Institute. He has spent the last twenty years or more obsessed by how people communicate at work. Jeff Brown

Jeff Brown spent much of his career as a broadcaster, including cohosting an award-winning and nationally syndicated morning show out of Nashville. He also served in the Nashville music industry for several years where, at one point, he helped take 26 songs in just 22 months all the way to number one.

His departure from radio in 2013 coincided with the launch of the Read to Lead Podcast. Since then, the podcast has garnered no less than four Best Business Podcast nominations and received nearly 10 million downloads. Pilar set up Virtual not Distant in 2016, in order to facilitate the journey for managers, teams and organisations towards “office optional”. She has worked with small teams helping them set up their online ecosystems, delivered training both online and off, and piloted new ways of working.

 
An experienced voiceover artist, she’s now working on creating audio-first courses and “Get Started with Async” will be her first audio course, co-created with Simon Wilson.
