His core career stint of 16 years was spent as a top executive at L’Oréal, where he was on the Executive Committee Worldwide of the Professional Products Division. Dave Snowden is the Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of The Cynefin Co. and Director of the Cynefin Centre for Applied Complexity. His international work covers government and industry, looking at complex strategic, organisational, and decision-making issues. He has pioneered a science-based approach, drawing on anthropology, the cognitive sciences, and complex adaptive systems theory. This approach, known as naturalising sense-making, has been acknowledged as one of five distinct schools of sensemaking/sense-making.

Liz Wiseman

Researcher, Author, and Executive Advisor

Liz Wiseman is a researcher and executive advisor who teaches leadership to executives around the world. She is the author of New York Times bestseller Multipliers and Wall Street Journal bestsellers Rookie Smarts and Impact Players.

Liz is the CEO of The Wiseman Group, a leadership research and development firm headquartered in Silicon Valley, California. Some of her recent clients include: Apple, AT&T, Disney, Emirates, Google, Lilly, Meta, Microsoft, Netflix, Nike, Salesforce, Tesla and X. Liz writes for Harvard Business Review, Fortune and a variety of other business and leadership journals.

She is a former executive at Oracle Corporation, where she worked as the Vice President of Oracle University and as the Global Leader for Human Resource Development. Liz holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and a master’s degree in organizational behavior, each from Brigham Young University. She is a frequent guest lecturer at Brigham Young University and Stanford University. Liz has received the top achievement award for leadership from Thinkers50 and has consistently been named one of the world’s top 50 management thinkers.
